How our numbers are worked out
Most money advice for this series is a confident figure in a video thumbnail with no working shown. We built these tools because we wanted the opposite: every result on this site is calculated in front of you, from assumptions you can see and change.
Three rules shape every figure we publish:
- Net, never gross. Supply costs and daily running fees are subtracted before we show income. Gross numbers look better and routinely trick players into bad purchases.
- True entry cost. A business price includes the prerequisite property you must own first — a clubhouse for motorcycle-club operations, an executive office for cargo and vehicle work. Quoting the buy-in alone hides millions.
- Your real playtime. Daily and weekly figures use the hours you actually play, not a theoretical round-the-clock grind.
An honest word about pre-launch data
The game is not out yet, so nobody — us included — has verified in-game economy figures for it. What we do have is a decade of thoroughly documented data from its predecessor: business production rates, upgrade effects, sell values and payout structures that have been measured and stable for years.
Every number here is modelled on that history and is clearly labelled as an estimate on the page it appears. We would rather tell you plainly that a figure is projected than dress a guess up as fact. Within 24 hours of release, estimates are replaced with verified values and the data version stamp in the footer is updated — your bookmarks keep working and simply start showing real numbers.
Who this site is for
If you enjoy planning as much as playing — working out which property pays for itself fastest, whether a heist beats a business, how many evenings a purchase will actually take — these tools were built for you. Everything is free, nothing requires an account, and every calculation runs in your own browser.
