How heist payouts & cuts work
Every heist has a total take (the money grabbed) and setup costs (prep fees and the entry property the host owns). Before the finale, the host assigns each crew member a percentage cut — and the cuts must add up to 100%.
- Host pays setup — so a fair split gives the host the biggest slice. This tool subtracts setup from your take when you're the host.
- Cut splitter — set your own %, and the rest is divided evenly among the other players. Perfect for agreeing a fair deal before you start.
- Hard / elite bonus — some heists pay extra for hard mode or challenges; toggle it to see the boosted take.
💡 Heists are the highest $/hour in the game, but businesses earn while you play them. Compare both in Money Methods, and read the full GTA 6 Heists Guide.
FAQ
How are GTA 6 heist cuts split?
The host sets each crew member's percentage before the finale, and they must total 100%. The host usually keeps the most because they pay setup. This tool sets your cut and splits the rest evenly among the others.
Does the host pay heist setup costs?
Yes — the host pays setup and property costs, so a fair split gives them a bigger share. We subtract setup from the host's take for a true net figure.
Are these GTA 6 numbers final?
No — pre-launch estimates modelled on GTA Online heists. Every value updates within 24 hours of GTA 6's launch.
