GTA 6 Meth Lab Profit Calculator
The Meth Lab is a strong mid-tier MC business and a great Nightclub feeder. See its profit per hour, net daily income and payback time. Pre-launch estimates — auto-updated within 24h of GTA 6 launch (… to go).
What the Meth Lab actually is
The Meth Lab sits in the upper-middle of the MC business family: noticeably stronger than the cheap feeder businesses, but a clear step below cocaine in raw output. Most experienced players own it for one of two reasons — either as a solid second MC earner, or specifically to give a Nightclub another technician to keep busy.
How production works — and the Clubhouse requirement
Like every MC property, the Meth Lab requires you to already own an MC Clubhouse before you can buy it. Our calculator includes that prerequisite in the total entry cost, because budgeting for the lab alone is how people end up short. After that it’s a standard loop: supplies convert into product over time, and your upgrade level decides how quickly and how profitably.
Which upgrades are worth it
Equipment and staff upgrades together transform the lab from mediocre to genuinely competitive. The honest guidance is the same as for cocaine: if you can’t afford the upgrades yet, don’t buy the business yet. An un-upgraded lab ties up a large amount of capital while producing at a rate that a much cheaper business would beat.
Selling: plan for your player count
Full-stock meth sales can dispatch multiple delivery vehicles under a single shared timer, which is difficult or impossible alone. Practical approaches:
- Sell at partial stock if you play solo — you trade a little bulk value for a sale you’ll actually complete.
- Sell with a friend or two to take full advantage of a filled lab.
- Route it through a Nightclub so the hub collects the goods and you sell everything in one simple trip.
Should you buy the Meth Lab?
It’s a reasonable purchase once you already own a Clubhouse and at least one stronger earner. As a standalone first or second business it’s rarely the best value — a cheap mobile lab pays back faster, and cocaine out-earns it at the top end. Where it genuinely shines is as part of a portfolio: another producer quietly feeding your passive hub while you play other content.
Common mistakes
- Ignoring the Clubhouse cost when planning your budget.
- Buying it before you can upgrade it.
- Attempting full-stock solo sales and losing product to the timer.
- Comparing gross profit instead of net — supply costs and daily upkeep both bite.
How the Meth Lab works in GTA Online today
The estimate here is modelled on the confirmed GTA Online business, where the Methamphetamine Lab sits second only to Cocaine among the six Motorcycle Club operations. Fully upgraded, a complete bar of product sells for roughly $630,000–$700,000 in a full lobby depending on how you fill it — strong money, and cheaper to enter than the Cocaine Lockup, which is what makes it the value pick of the MC line-up. Our calculator treats it the same way we treat every producer: supplies are a real cost, upkeep ticks daily whether you play or not, and the number we show you is what actually lands in your account after both.
